The Co-founder of The Healing Net Foundation and Surgical Director of the Neuroendocrine Institute at Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers. Dr. Liu met Roger Jones after Jones was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor. Forming a friendship for nearly ten  years, Dr. Liu supports the health benefits of dragon boating he has witnessed in his own patient and friend, 

The Motown sounds of the Band Swizzlesticks will provide the musical entertainment. Member of the band, Ken Ertel, is a fellow Ohioan, that met Roger Jones while going through his own neuroendocrine journey. All three of these men are bonded and will share, delight and entertain us with stories that will inspire.

The CDBA is more than a water sport. It creates teams of people working together for a common goal. You can take your individual journey in the boat while focusing on your own paddle. Though in the boat, you are surrounded by others doing the same and as a team you win more than a race. As a non - profit, the CDBA is growing and needs support to keep this sport in the community for water sport enthusiast, those seeking alternative health initiatives and the support it gives to The Gathering Place, a local cancer support center serving greater Cleveland residents impacted by a cancer - FREE of charge.
